BVM (USN) hosted Ludhiana Sahodaya Complex English Declamation Contest today. The event commenced with the Deep Prajawalan Ceremony by benevolent members of BVM Trust, Sh. O.P. Sabharwal ji (President), Sh. M.M.Vyas ji (Secretary), Sh. M.M.Bamba ji (Treasurer), Principal Mrs. Bandana Sethi and esteemed jury-members, Mrs. Sumedha Bhandari (Assistant Professor of English, Department of Agricultural Journalism, Languages & Culture College of Basic Sciences & Humanities, PAU), Mrs. Anjali Arora Soni (Assistant Professor, D.D. Jain College of Education, Ludhiana and Mrs. Kumud Chawla (Associate Professor, Arya College, Ludhiana). 28 teams from prestigious institutions of the city zealously participated in the contest and showcased their oratory skills. Participants declaimed on thoughtful topics like: We have not inherited this planet from our forefathers but we have borrowed it from and for our children, The wise act the otherwise react, Democracy without discipline is meaningless, Lurking shadows of terrorism over the contemporary world, When you doubt your power, you give power to your doubt, A man’s feet must be planted to his country but his eyes should survey the world.
